4. Please note that when you plan to build a special style of home like a two story home, or a large home the cost will be greater. The style of home , the shape and the size you want will make the cost of the home go up. The style and size of the house you build is going to influence the total amount of money you pay.

5. Make sure you have an extra fund for those unforeseen expenses. When the crew comes in to prepare the land for building, they are not sure how much excavating they will need to do for that foundation. This is where extra expenses can come into play and you need to have a little money set aside here for any extra costs in this area.
